The Challenge: The CEO of Crystal Decisions needed a Regional Sales Director who would quickly build a top-performing team for the Eastern Region. The company was already delivering a recognizable, top-selling business intelligence solution and was receiving the attention that would eventually lead them to acquisition. To further the challenge, they had attempted to source talent using their internal resources, only to continuously come up short.
Our Solution: Through our network of known top sales professionals, we headhunted a candidate from a competing enterprise. We knew the candidate’s accomplishments and vision, and had complete confidence that he would build out a dynamic sales force. Our placement went on to explode the Eastern Region, earning him the title of Top Sales Manager for his region in Canada.
Once the Regional Director was successfully placed, our team continued to work with Crystal Decisions, sourcing candidates in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Chicago. These candidates proved to be solid top-performers, leading their region in total annual sales. Since we began working with Crystal Decisions, they were acquired by Business Objects and continue to lead the industry with innovative business intelligence solutions.
