Achievers engaged us to recruit two Product Management Directors as part of a transformation that would scale out of their product organization. Each leader would be responsible for a product line and people management with the mandate to grow their respective products.

Experience leading and managing a team of high performance Product Managers who deliver value consistently was also important. All candidates needed business acumen related to product strategy & definition, and the ability to engage credibly with engineering and design counterparts to achieve adoption and growth outcomes.
This product required a champion who could step into a business that had ambitious goals for the product and make the necessary decisions to delight their enterprise customers.
The chosen candidate had over 20 years of employment experience, including 16 years working in the CPG industry, responsible for digital transformation and innovation projects for their employer as well as those impacting retail partners. They transitioned into a pure Product Management role in 2016 and was promoted into a leadership role the same year of joining.
Experience leading teams of 8 Product Managers delivering value across native mobile apps and web products. Past experience launching net-new digital experiences that are in the market today and being used by millions of Canadians.
