Our client, a global leader in automotive cutting die manufacturing, was celebrating their 100th anniversary and positioning themselves for an evolving market where they can maintain a leadership position for the next
one hundred years.

While they are a world-class manufacturer of cutting dies, what truly makes them exceptional is their industrial automation systems. The mandate for this incoming Director of Engineering was to identify new revenue sources that would leverage their industrial automation expertise.

 

The Hire

This candidate has 15+ years of experience in Product Development. They had experience being tasked with standing up a new product line that grew from 0 to $15M in 3 years. From there, they were tasked to transform Canadian operations from a distribution facility into a Product Development & Innovation-focused Engineering lab. Their efforts have resulted in a 12.5% CAGR over the last 5 years.
