TCG Process was looking for their first Canadian sales hire to build out the insurance vertical across Canada. This required them to find a Senior Software Sales Executive experienced in closing complex deals, driving net new business and selling into the Insurance vertical.

TCG Process built an intelligent automation and process management software that delivers unparalleled levels of control, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by transforming the way their customers collect, understand and act on the content entering their organization. Today they operate in 10 countries and are continually expanding by 25% year-over-year.


Search Requirements 

Our client was looking for an enterprise hunter with 5-7 years of B2B SaaS software sales experience. It was important candidates had experience selling into large insurance companies across Canada and a demonstrated history of exceeding $1M quotas and closing $200K+ deals. They were looking for a strong hunter mindset and someone able to be highly strategic and consultative.


The Hire

A strong hunter who thrives in a startup environment, with a niche for helping early stage companies build relationships from scratch and break into new verticals.

They were the first sales hire at a B2B SaaS startup, helping them grow from pre-seed to Series B. Consistently achieved or surpassed quota, with an average deal size of $100K-$400K, well above the company average ($70K). They has also previously, built a book from scratch and exceeded their $1M quota each year by 115%.
