The mission of this role is to bring to life the launch of a new brand: a self service digital insurance product serving a native digital/native mobile user persona.
This opportunity will report to the President and be ultimately responsible for building the business. The incumbent will be responsible for executing on both short term and long term goals.
The short term goal requires translating the business vision into a product road map and ensuring the successful launch of a B2C digital insurance product.
The long term goal is to build a product ECOSYSTEM of digital finance products for the citizens of English speaking under-banked countries.
You have been functioning in a Product Management role for a leading B2C digital product/brand that delights users.
You have extensive experience taking products into the market which are in use today and deliver value to its customers.
You have experience partnering with 3rd party consultancies and steering their activities to ensure the creation of a final product that meets the business requirements.
You have experience building and managing product teams.
Despite your extensive experience, you don't need a team to get the job done. You are seeking the opportunity to join a true start up at ground level, knowing you will be the sole product person and will therefore be "doing" and not leading" in these early days.
You have experience contributing to strategic decisions impacting the go to market strategy of a business and a product launch.
You live in the eastern time zone, and are willing to travel internationally as required.
