Our client is a Toronto based scale up and was created because they saw an opportunity for products, data and technology to be used to simplify, connect and improve daily life. Through understanding consumer needs, they build care brands; brands that enable people to achieve everyday health and happiness. They have a number of health and wellness products: both consumer electronics and native mobile apps (IOS and Android), already in market globally. Their growth to date is remarkable: founded in 2018, their products launched in 2019 and to date have achieved revenue in excess of $60M.
Until this point in the business, our client's Design team has been an overseas offshore team. Due to the dramatic growth of the business this year, the company is seeking their first Senior UX Designer based in North America.
This new role will be instrumental in how the company imagines and releases product, adopting the philosophy that design will drive the product.
The mission of this role will include taking ownership of the consumer's experience and ensuring it is frictionless and delightful. Your decisions will keep users coming back for the value our client's app adds to their lifestyle and meeting wellness goals.
You are currently responsible for the UX Design of a consumer product.
Your product is a mobile product available in the App Store or Google Play and has millions of users.
You are hands on but own the strategy around "why".
You are based in Toronto or a city on eastern standard time.
