Our client is a rapidly growing and highly profitable B2B SaaS vendor that is a market leader in social media analytics. They operate through a Product Led Growth (PLG) approach which begins with a free trial before a customer converts to one of 3 subscription packages. Their solution enables brands and media companies to understand, measure and improve their impact across their clients' social media channels.

They are Toronto-based, but that has not stopped them from reaching a global network of companies. They work with well-known organizations such as BBC News, Google, Netflix and Spotify, to name a few.


You will be entering this exciting opportunity as the company's first VP Sales with the expectation of growth into a GM or Operators role.

Your mission is to create the playbooks, the sales process and drive the actions that convert inbound leads or free trials into paying customers. You will "show 'em how it's done" when it comes to growing a PLG business model that still requires sales engagement to close larger opportunities.

When you look back on this time 3 years from now, you will be sitting in the GM or COO seat and will have thrice the revenues across North America!

Experience & Expertise

  • You are a VP Sales or CRO for a B2B SaaS vendor.
  • You joined a business in its early days of single-digit sales. You instilled the processes, playbooks, and coaching that multiplied growth and revenues.
  • You understand PLG growth models that are driven by inbound leads where a subscription begins with a free trial.
  • You have the experience to manage those funnels and identify opportunities that need to move to a Sales Rep.
  • You are a data and metrics-driven leader and have a resume filled with stats to back it up.
  • You thrive in small companies of fewer than 30 people and thrive working alongside Founders. You "complete" them.
  • You are based in Canada.
