Our client's platform is a white label solution based on AI and Machine learning techniques. This platform creates efficiencies for small business owners while providing big data purchase behaviour insights to banks.

Our client's future is poised for great things as they leverage the future of mobile payments and mobile wallets.

Our client's office is located in the hub of the downtown Toronto tech scene, walking distance from Union Station and surrounded by great restaurants and coffee spots.


When you say "yes" to this role, you are saying yes to being the FIRST MARKETING LEADER this Fintech startup will have employed! No pressure, but a lot is riding on this role.

As the first person to sit in the VP Marketing Chair, you will bring equal parts strategic thinking and the ability to execute and "get it done."

You will lead, inspire, and coach a team of marketers—and do it in a respectful, inclusive way, helping each person to stretch and grow through their contributions.

You will lead the organization towards its goals by developing the strategy and go to market plan for marketing a B2B2C mobile platform and app. You will CREATE A BRAND, and DRIVE MARKET AWARENESS to ultimately INCREASE ADOPTION of the app by end users (consumers).

You are excited by the opportunity to build a brand and execute the marketing which will drive a GLOBAL business of a mobile platform, sold to banks but used by millions of people every day.

Experience & Expertise

You are currently run marketing for a tech company whose business, brand and growth has been shaped by the decisions YOU have made.

You've had the taste of start up life and can't imagine working for a corporate enterprise again. You work best in a nimble/agile environment where the Founder knows you by name and looks across the table square into your eyes for answers to their business problems. Er, I mean "opportunities".

You have built a recognizable brand for a tech company. If you name drop your employer, no asks "who"?

The ideal candidate has worked for a FINTECH. The ideal candidate has marketed a native mobile app. The ideal candidate has worked for a B2B2C company. The idea candidate has experience working with distribution/reseller partners. The ideal candidate has managed teams of 8 people or greater but remains hands on in the work they do.
